Wendling Beck is working in collaboration with Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) to pioneer biodiversity monitoring using novel methods.

A collaborative research program is testing new technologies and artificial intelligence to drive more accuracy in recording species recovery. This research is supported by University of East Anglia, University of Cambridge and UK Centre for Hydrology & Ecology (UK CEH). Species recovery within Wendling Beck is at the vanguard of UK data capture and data management.
